We welcome visitors Wednesday through Saturday, 1-4 pm for free guided tours. Saturday, December 21 is the last day we are open for tours before the museum closes for the winter season.

The House Administrator part-time position, will ensure the smooth operation of the museum through administrative tasks, events and programming, as well as managing the docent schedules. This is a great fit for those who enjoy diverse, multi-tasking environments in a cultural arts setting.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for history and the arts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and partners
- Commitment to accuracy in administrative tasks
- Hours will include Wednesday through Friday, 12 pm to 4 pm

Celebrate the rich history of the holidays at the Robbins Hunter Museum! 

Experience Holiday Magic at the Robbins Hunter Museum, which has transformed this elegant Greek Revival house museum, built in 1842, into a festive wonderland featuring trees representing different historical periods. Visitors will receive a new Family-Friendly Holiday Tour designed for ALL families. Visitors will also see a captivating special exhibit: The Hanukkah Collection. It features a special selection of hanukkiahs, or Hanukkah menorahs, and Hanukkah artifacts from a local private collector. This collection enriches our holiday display with a vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity.

All holiday tours, including the family-friendly tour, will run from Wednesday to Saturday, 1 PM to 4 PM, providing ample opportunity for families to enjoy this unique experience. Groups of four or more people are encouraged to call the museum to set up a tour.

    Santa’s elves are coming to Granville!

    Kids can pick up an Elf on the Run Adventure card from participating locations and hunt for elves at the businesses (and museums!) listed on the card.

    You will get a stamp on your card when you find the elf in his hiding spot.

    Fill the card for a free ice cream. This event is offered by the Granville Recreation District and Seven 4 Zero Ice Cream Shop & Restaurant.

    Step back in time as you explore this historic house, built in 1842, and see it transformed into a holiday wonderland.

    The museum will be aglow with festive lights illuminating our stunning Greek columns and the vintage ornaments adorning eight beautifully decorated rooms.

    Marvel at twelve meticulously themed holiday trees, showcasing everything from the charming 1870s Spelman Family tree to the nostalgic 1950s bubble light tree, along with several new creations this year.

    As part of the festivities, guests can view the Gingerbread House Competition entries, hosted in partnership with the Granville Recreation District. Vote for your favorite entries and enjoy the creativity on display!

    This event is free and open to the public. The museum has a wheelchair accessible entrance.
