The scarecrows return to the museum in October!

This year's theme is Licking County Leaders and Legends. It will feature people with a connection to Licking County who have left their mark on our local community and beyond.

The Upper Elementary class at Welsh Hills School will be completing research to learn about some amazing local people who have worked to make a difference in the world. Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders are writing biographies to tell the individual stories of some of our county's most remarkable residents, who will each be represented by one of the student-made scarecrows populating the lawn. Join us at the Scarecrow Invasion Reception on Friday, October 21 at 6pm to hear WHS students share what they learned about some of Licking County's finest!
