Promoting and inspiring creativity and art education, Joanne Woodyard has been a dedicated member of the Licking County, Ohio community for over 65 years.

Woodyard is a well-known and established community artist and has participated in numerous art shows including the Bryn Du Art Show. She is a long-standing member and supporter of the Robbins Hunter Museum. She was the Honorary Chair of the first Robbins Hunter Museum's Granville Garden Day Tour, creating the art for this inaugural event. Woodyard received RHM's Victoria Woodhull Woman of Achievement Award in 2017 for her commitment to empowering women and serving the community.

The Legacy Collection is a unique opportunity to own a piece of Joanne Woodyard's artistic legacy. It will be showcased at the Robbins Hunter Museum in Granville, Ohio for a limited time - from August 14th to 16th, until 4 pm each day. All pieces of this special 3-day show will be available for purchase.

"We are incredibly excited to provide the community with an opportunity to enjoy this beautiful collection. Promising to stir emotions and feed your soul, this exhibition will showcase a variety of pieces from throughout Joanne's artistic career," said Joleen Minton, Executive Director of the Robbins Hunter Museum.

Many local residents have been moved by Woodyard's creativity and connection, and her art has had a profound impact on their lives. In response, Woodyard stated, "Art is not a job. Art is born into all of us. No one can do it alone. Yes, you have to have someone to encourage you. But then once you create, you must pass your support on to others and share the art."
